Robert Hong

Robert Hong, Wellness Counsellor and Group Facilitator is Assiniboine, Chinese, and French Metis from Victoria, BC. He moved to Vancouver when he started his recovery 1986 journey from trauma. He is culturally involved by running ceremonies, drumming groups, and trained in Mayan Healing Practices. Robert has Bachelors in Fine Arts Degree from Emily Carr University. He is Somatic Experiencing Practitioner which helps client release trauma from in the body. He is trained in Indigenous Focused Orientated Therapy teaches which is land based teachings for working with trauma. Robert is uses existential approaches to healing. Robert graduated for Vancouver Community College Addiction Counseling Program.
